FAQs
Frequently asked questions
What vaccinations are required?
The Lady and The Tramps wants to provide a safe environment for your pet, therefor we require all pets be current on their rabies vaccinations. All dogs must be up to date on Bordatella for their safety. We require proof of up to date vaccinations from your veterinarian by paper or email.
Do you do online booking?
No we do not provide online booking, we find speaking to the groomer helps prevent confusion of appointments and prevents mistakes and miscommunications.
How much does it cost to get my pet groomed?
This all varies on breed, temperament, size, age, and how long the service time is. Please ask the salon and we can give you a better estimate.
Can I stay and watch my pet get groomed?
No, this excites your pet and can be dangerous for the grooming process. Your pet is in very safe hands with high end equipment and we will phone you 15 minutes before your pet is finished.
Are you going to sedate my pet?
A groomer is not allowed to sedate a pet, if we find it is necessary to have your pet sedated due to aggression, we will warn you for the next groom to stop at the veterinarian before coming to the salon.
Will my dog be kenneled?
Yes, we try to keep the kennel time to a minimum by calling you before your pet is done.
Do you provide flea bathes?
No, the risk of fleas spreading to another animal is very high. This is for the safety of your own pet and others, you will be directed to a veterinarian immediately if fleas/lice or other parasites are present.
